Hi a quick question please, I dont understand what is 230c low fan setting? on my oven I can choose between top/bottom hear or fan. so should I put 230c on fan setting?
Hi! When I say 230C low fan, I’m referring to using a fan-assisted (convection) setting, but with a gentle airflow. Some ovens let you control the fan strength, but if yours doesn’t, no worries!
If your fan setting is quite strong, reduce the temperature to 220C to prevent overbrowning. But if the fan isn’t too aggressive, you can go ahead and use 230C.
If you’re using top/bottom heat, you can stick with 230C, but just keep in mind it might take a couple of extra minutes to bake.

do u have tips ? to make my cheesecake very smooth like yours ? ur texture is amazing its smooth perfectly from outside to the center part !
Hi Aileen! At 200C I think it’ll take about 30-35 minutes. The top won’t be as brown as mine but the texture should be similar. Just make sure to take it out of the oven while there’s still a wobble in the center.

Hi! My oven only goes to 200 degree Celsius 🥲 how much longer do you recommend I bake this basque cheesecake for to get the same/similar results?
